On January 7, 2024, the 81st Golden Globes awards ceremony commenced as A-list celebrities from across the United States assembled in Beverly Hills, California, to celebrate the past year in the best film and television productions of the year. With over 9.4 million viewers watching, this high-profile event garnered attention as people eagerly hopped onto streaming services. Shortly before the event, Jo Koy, a Filipino American comedian, was announced as the host of this big event.
