Mystik Dan Wins The 2024 Kentucky Derby “By a Nose”

The 150th Kentucky Derby brought about one of the most teeth-biting finishes in racing history. Lining up to start, three horses on the line, with a single nostril determining the winner. The official decision was made after a lengthy analysis of the final photograph, with contestants and the crowd alike waiting for what may have been the longest two minutes of their entire lives. Finally, the call was made, Mystik Dan had measured a nostril ahead of Sierra Leone, and Forever Young, the 150th Kentucky Derby had been concluded in one of its closest finishes yet.
