WHS Pep Rally Kicks Off Thanksgiving Break

On the last Wednesday before Thanksgiving Break, Winchester High School wrapped up Spirit Week with the annual pep rally, which never fails to bring the entire school together. With so much preparation and excitement, students were more than ready to show off their school spirit. Spirit Week itself was full of energy. Students participated in themed dress-up days to earn points for their classes. Monday’s Pajama Day encouraged everyone to start the week in a cozy style. On Tuesday, Class Color Day saw each grade get its designated color—white for freshmen, blue for sophomores, red and pink for juniors, and black for seniors. Finally, Wednesday’s “Country vs. Country Club” theme had underclassmen embracing cowboy hats and boots while juniors and seniors wore polos and pearls. The hallway decorating contest brought out even more creativity, each grade transformed their space to match their theme. Freshmen embraced the winter chill with a snow-inspired design, sophomores' theme was “Blue’s Clues,” junior's theme of fire aimed at turning up the heat in the competition, and seniors took students to the stars with a space-themed hallway.
